Non-Exclusive Aircraft Sales Program
Buyer Registration Agreement
This aircraft marketing service is offered to owners who will not list their aircraft on an exclusive sale contract, but, will cooperate with brokers, on a customer by customer, Buyer Registration basis.
The Buyer Registration Agreement, (View Agreement) when accepted, will allow us to exclusively offer your aircraft to a named (Registered) prospective buyer, on an "AS-IS" basis, just as the aircraft is represented by you to us. We will use your aircraft specification description, and we will offer the plane at the asking price you are quoting to anyone who may call you.
Commissions and Fees. Prior to offering your plane, we will talk to you to determine how we must structure a presentation of sale, to earn our commission. Within the industry, this is commonly done by paying a percentage of the gross selling price that you ultimately accept, to the broker. Percentages vary, but they are generally from one percent or less on very expensive aircraft ($30 million or more), gradually increasing as the sale price comes down, to six or seven percent, for lower priced models. The other less commonly used method (we do not recommend) is the owner establishing a NET price for their aircraft, thereby agreeing to pay any amount paid over that to the broker as their commission. This has many pitfalls for both the owner and the broker. It is not a good way to sell your aircraft.
When we initially offer your plane, we will determine at that time, whether or not the prospect is aware of the aircraft, and already engaged in talks with you, or another broker. When we determine there is no conflict, we will provide the prospect's name to you, for your verbal acceptance, as our exclusively Registered client, for the purchase of your plane.
When you accept our Registration, the agreement will be subsequently summarized in written form, and it will be prepared by us for your review. (View Agreement) This document will confirm both parties have the same understanding of how, and under what circumstances, your plane will be offered to the prospective buyer.
When a Buyer Registration has been accepted, we will use all good and customary sales techniques available to encourage the prospect to give your aircraft their serious purchase consideration. We will provide full specifications describing the aircraft, detailed information about its maintenance history and current inspection status, photos of the plane, and encourage them to set an appointment for their personal visual inspection. These efforts will continue until the aircraft is sold.
