This statement is not meant to challenge your ability to recognize a good deal or to be able to negotiate an outstanding buy. But, unless you deal in the aircraft market often, there are many pitfalls that can cause even the best deal to fall apart. They sometime take on unanticipated complications that sour everyone involved. But, when these bumps in the road are encountered, then dealt with quickly, they may only be a small blip on your radar screen.

The reason is, they will get calls from many dealers and brokers about their aircraft, thus giving the impression there are more buyers and this tends to firm up otherwise negotiable prices.
